Confirmed working on a Virgin Mobile Optimus V LG VM670

To get it working, you will need your phone number or MDN and MSID information from Ringplus
Your MDN and MSID info can now be found on your Ringplus dashboard at https://my.ringplus.net/

Then, on your phone, dial ##VIRGIN# or ##847446#.
Click on EDIT
Enter your 10 digit Ringplus phone number (which is your MDN number) for the MDN number, then click OK
Next, enter the 10 digit MSID number that you got from your Ringplus dashboard, then click OK
Click DONE when finished.
Your phone will reboot.
Make and receive calls, Send and receive text
Dont forget to turn off mobile data by going to settings, wireless & networks, mobile networks, and uncheck DATA ENABLED.
